About the artist
Alice was born in 1981 in Italy. In 1987 she began training in Ballet and in1993 was introduced to Graham technique. In 2000 she trained in the U.S.A., mainly at Hampshire College, Massachusetts and in New York. In 2004 she completed her BA (Hons) Dance and Theatre degree at the Laban Centre, London, graduating with first class honours.
At Laban Alice began her own choreographic and per-formative work, which continues to be her main focus. She has also worked professionally in the world of dance theatre with companies such as Punchdrunk Theatrical experiences, Stacked Wonky Dance co and the Welsh National Theatre.
Alice has taught Improvisation, Release and Graham technique as well as Ballet in Italy, London and Iceland. She has recently joined the Birkbeck college staff as a tutor in contemporary technique (Graham and Release) for the foundation degree and has also taught Graham at Roehampton University.

22-25 March 2007 LARGE OPEN HOUSE: Durational performance of six hours and a half. The project was organized by musician/composer Mike Vargas and performer Olivier Besson in association with Patricia Brouilly, director of Canaldanse. Paris, France.
1st October 2006: 108 Prototype
Performed in “Time waits for no man” Performance installation by Andreas Costantinou, as part of the art platform 108 Prototype. Reykjavik, Iceland.

Collaborated on the creation and featured in a video installation directed by Andreas Costantinou, shown in Evolution 2007. The place theatre,London.

20th March –27th May 2006 Theatr Genedleathol Cymru -Welsh National Theatre-
Performed in theatrical production of “Esther” -Director Daniel Evans and choreographer Sioned Huws.- This involved a two months tour in various theatres of Wales.

18 August- 29 September 2005 Staked Wonky Dance Company
Residency at Cecil Sharp House, the English Folk and Dance Society, with some members of the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and the Society of Wonders. The residency culminated in “The dream of the house in the house” a performance at Cecil Sharp House, London between the 14th and 29th of September.
